Come listen to this fabulous group of upcoming jazz artists who will play jazz standards along with a wide variety of original compositions!

Quinn Walker is a Trumpet player and composer studying jazz performance at Portland State University. Quinn moved to Portland from Seattle after high school to study jazz at PSU and is currently in his sophomore year.  Quinn's favorite musicians include Tom Harrell, Bill Evans, and Joe Henderson. He is excited to share music with the community and continue the great tradition of jazz in the Portland area. 

Nicole McCabe is a 20 year old alto saxophonist from San Francisco, California. Her main influences are musicians including Cannonball Adderley, Kenny Garrett, and Sonny Rollins and studies with educators such as Alan Jones, Joe Manis, and George Colligan. Nicole is a sophomore at Portland state university.

Carlos Andres Moreno is a high school junior by day and jazz musician by night. He's been composing and drumming for many years. Other than music, he loves hiking, good food, fast cars, and cute dogs. And cats. Meow 

Nate Francis is a Bass player in the Portland area. He is very dedicated to his craft and plays both classical and jazz music at a high level. He is a high school senior and is excited for his musical future.

Julian Lopez is a 19 year old pianist from San Francisco, California. He started studying piano at the age of 5, and at the age of 14 started exploring rock and blues through a local music organization. At 16, Julian began to study jazz under Peter Horvath, and joined the Latin Jazz Youth Ensemble of San Francisco under the direction of Professor John Calloway. Julian has performed at many venues in San Francisco, and is currently studying with George Colligan at Portland State University as a Jazz major.
