Put on that sombrero and come on over to LooseWig headquarters for a fabulous evening of lively latin jazz!

Featuring drummer Mark Griffith, Saxophonist Catarina New Martin, Al Criado bass, Al Martin congas, pianist Devin Sanders, and trumpeter and leader Bryant Allard, Picante represents some of the finest latin jazz players in Portland. This six piece group (which also has a 4 piece configuration)  presents a fusion of latin and jazz music including music from Tito Puente, Carlos Federico, Poncho Sanchez, Chucho Valdez, Dexter Gordon, Woody Shaw, Herbie Hancock, Wes Montgomery, as well as original music by Catarina New Martin and Bryant Allard. Come enjoy the hot latin rhythms from one of Portland’s premier Afro-Cuban Jazz bands. Picante will light the fire for any occasion.
